For example one may find that brown noise helps with sleep disorders and for another white noise works better. If you need more advanced control over noise you can click button with 'sliders'. To set up time after which playing will stop you can click timer button. "Natural RNG" section in advanced menu allows to select if source for noise maker is uniform or natural. About colors / types. Brown noise: (-6dB / octave) Sounds f.e. like strong waterfalls, low roaring, thunder. Pink noise: (-3dB / octave) Sounds like rustling leaves, steady rain, wind. White noise: uniform power distribution. Sounds like whirring fan, radio static. Blue noise: (+3dB / octave) Sounds like high-pitched hiss of water.
